The article consists of three parts. analysis existing technologies wireless power transfer (WPT) is carried out in the first part. It noted that one factors determines choice or another WPT technology distance over which transmitted and type electromagnetic (EM) energy used. essence near zone, Fresnel zone Fraunhofer explained. A generalized block diagram system presented. Areas application trends further development short distances using induction resonance methods, long distances, EM harvesting from surrounding space its conversion into direct current for powering low-power devices are considered.
